Joint Base San Antonio Randolph Air Force Base
Located a mile from Live Oak, serves as headquarters for both the Air Education and Training Command (AETC), Air Force Personnel Center (AFPC) and the host unit, the 12th Flying Training Wing. The Base is known as the ‘Showplace of the Air Force’ thanks to its Spanish Colonial Revival Style architecture. JBSA Randolph is home to more than 4,000 military members; 5, 000 dependents; and 5,000 DOD civilians. Veterans, who make up about 16.7 percent of Live Oak’s population, have prime access to services throughout the region.

The Northeast Partnership (NEP) is a 501(c)(6) non-profit corporation that was formed in the mid-1990's to promote economic growth and quality of life in the Northeast San Antonio area. The Northeast Partnership works to protect and advocate the interests of its Partnership Members.
